Last.fm, Facebook and Twitter all coming to X-Box

Today Microsoft announced that Last.fm, Facebook and Twitter were all coming to X-Box Live, Yet again stepping up their game against the PS3. Video after the break.Last.fm will start offering streaming radio to the users front room. Twitter and Facebook are also going to be intergrated with the X-Box, You’ll be able to see profile’s, photos and status updates all from your X-Box. Something else I found interesting is that you can share your achievements whilst playing games. Say you unlock a new level, You can share this on Facebook. Twitter has a very twitter like look to it. All tweets are in clouds and these can be seen in the video and screenshots bellow.

Microsoft have just announced pretty sweet looking new X-Box 360 dashboard at E3. The new dashboard has a few new features and the usual features are still their. The new dashboard takes use of the “expected” Wii-Mee Lookalike avatars. We still dont know how they work outside the dashboard but they look a lot better than the Wii versions. Some of the new features include been able to watch NetFlix films on your x-box and with your friends. Also you can now copy your games to your hard drive and play from the hard drive. You still have to have the disc in to prove you have the game but it will boot twice as quick and no spining disc noise! Also a new “Party” feature will allow a 8 friend chatroom so you can chat before your game. It will now be easier to take your friends into a game with you!
