A 14 year old girl had her ipod to thank after she was struck by a 300,000 volt lighting bolt, Sophie Frost and her boyfriend had been sheltering from a thunder storm under a tree (Not the best of ideas) when the bolt struck and apparently her ipod diverted the powerful bolt. Shame about the ipod, which was given to her as a present from her grandma just days before.
