Right the Sims 3, as you would expect this comes with a heavy price tag of £5.99 from the app store.I must admit this is one of the best games out for the iphone right now, and if you don’t mind paying £5.99 its defiantly worth a buy
You first get to make your own sim in the traditional sims way, by changing gender, hair style, colour just about anything. You also get the cool new feature taken from the PC version which is been able to pick a personality type for your Sim. You get the choice of six different personality types, Jack of all trades so your sim is just a God really and is good at everything, you can have the Nice guy so yeh your sim is friendly and can easily make friends etc, Your sim can be made a Jerk so basically he/she annoys everyone in the neighbourhood, You can get a generous amount of WooHoos by making your sim a Sleaze ? Or make he/ she a Power seeker, so yes your Sim loves money and Power. Finally Maniac, this is my personally favourite your sim is just all round crazy.
Right the game play, You can not build a new house from scratch but what do you expect, you get a standard house at first, with everything you need to get started But as you get through the game and make some simoleons you can upgrade your home. Okay so now in Sims your sim makes wishes so for example they make wish to stay entertained for three days or kick over every trashcan in the city etc. By completing the wish it will generally improve your Sims happiness. What I find very impressive is you can walk around the new Sims town well you can go from building to building, just with a small loading time. You can get a number if jobs such as test subject in the lab there are around 5 different jobs you can get, and of course you can gain a promotion.
There are around 9 different houses you can visit and around 15 different sims to befriend or annoy. Which I think is pretty impressive for an iphone game. You can take up fishing as a hobby, which you enter a mini game using the tilt motion on your iphone/ ipod to catch different fish. Or if that doesn’t take your fancy maybe take up gardening or repairing things.
Next the graphics, the graphics for Sims 3 are very impressive again EA has done a great job. After publishing games like Tiger Woods and Need For Speed, EA hasn’t disappointed in the graphics department. They look great and the touch screen works great letting you zoom, move the screen around and of course control your sim.
Overall this is a great game for the iphone. You can play for hours on end and still be amused, With EA announcing cool features to go with the recent 3.0 software update, you will be able to play your on music through the sims stereo and let your Sims dance away to your itunes collection. So yes it is priced at £5.99 but this has to be one of the best iphone games currently available, yet again EA has done a great job.
